Ghyangfedhi VDC of Nuwakot is likely going to be women less village in
the upcoming years15-25 years. Similarly adjoining VDCs Shikharbesi and other
neighbouring VDCs also have the same condition. Those VDCs are the most women trafficking
area of Nuwakot district. Every teenager girls and even married women also are
trapped to go under the network of traffickers. As the more than 100 young men
above 40 are in search of bride. Finding a life partner for them is being a challenge.
They are all unmarried especially in Tamang cast there no young and marriageable
girl in the village. They have had no bride till now. Married women also goes to India for the sake
of god job and ultimately they reaches to brothels. They have to spend their
fertile life there likely or unlikely and come back after some years carrying
with the vulnerable disease. That is the reality of Ghyangfedi and adjoining
village. Isn't it a challenge to local Government, Administration Civil society,
Go/Ngos ? This is a remarkable matter.
