Ghyangfedhi VDC likes to be women less

Ghyangfedhi VDC of Nuwakot is likely going to be women less village in the upcoming years15-25 years. Similarly adjoining VDCs Shikharbesi and other neighbouring VDCs also have the same condition. Those VDCs are the most women trafficking area of Nuwakot district. Every teenager girls and even married women also are trapped to go under the network of traffickers. Star of Marathons

Pheidippides is the star of Marathon history. Pheidippides was a Greek messenger in the battlefield of Greek and Persian marathon. When Greeks defeated to Persian and got victory over Persian Pheidippides was sent to Athens from the battlefield to announce the news of victory. He ran out on marathon and completed the distance of 42.195 kilometres. At that time there were no any safety measures to run like shoes and like other comfortable equipments. When Pheidippides reached to Athens and as soon as delivered the news of victory he died soon. This event had been took place in August or September, 490 BC. After that Pheidippides has given the title of first marathon runner. Now marathon race is included in every national and international game as an integral part. Everest marathon is internationally recognised race in Nepal which is being organised very year.

69 Kilometres back riding for old age allowance

A 79 years aged man Dambar Bahadur Sharki arrived at district headquarter  Sindulimadi from the Bhuvaneshowari VDC 69 kilometre far. He came along with a young man who carried him on his back through all 69 km. distance for the search of old age allowance. DDC officials investigate financial documents submitted by the VDC secretary and find out that VDC secretary Ruplal Devkota had already drawn his allowance and submitted fake receipt with financial reports. Local Development Officer gave him assurance him to take action against the secretary and providing allowance to him. Than Dambar Bahadur had no options except to go back home with allowance along with riding back on his friend. What action will be taken to VDC secretary to be seeing?
